Karen has been with Midwest Bone & Joint Center since its opening in July 2001. Karen wears many “hats” within our practice. As transcriptionist, she is responsible for the development of patient notes and other necessary documents regarding patient care and practice matters. She also serves as Medical Assistant to our Nurse Practitioner during clinic hours removing casts, giving injections, and caring for incisions. Because of her broad range of experience in the healthcare field, Karen performs a different task each day. She brings fourteen years of healthcare experience to the company. During that time, she has held positions as CNA, dental assistant, medical office assistant and transcriptionist.
Karen lives in Macon and enjoys reading, going to auctions and being with her grandchildren.
