Susan has been with Midwest Bone & Joint Center since April 2006. As one of two front office receptionists, her duties include patient check-in as well as necessary patient chart and filing responsibilities. She has been in the healthcare field since 2001, having worked at Samaritan Hospital for five years in Patient Registration, billing and collections.
Susan has lived in Macon since 1999 and is married to Shawn Peters, DVM. They adopted the love and joy of their lives, Savannah Grace Li Hang Peters, in February 2007. She enjoys walking, hunting, doing taxidermy work, tennis, shopping, being a mom, and being involved in activities at First Baptist Church.
Susan says her position is very rewarding and challenging. She enjoys working with the public and meeting new patients every day. Susan also enjoys working with all her co-workers. “We are like one big family.”
